Uses of FrostWires

FrostWire includes LimeWire’s free version functions, and a few of LimeWire Pro’s payment based upgrades On top of that, The program contains no pop-ups, no nag screens, no inhibiting features. User would not get bombarded by ads. In addition, FrostWire users do not have to worry about simultaneous download restrictions.

FrostWire has some new features. It comes with friendly online chatroom. However, you would not be able to find some of the LimeWire features such as the instant messenger in FrostWire.

FrostWire has enabled TLS encryption for its connection by default. This can be disabled in the preference. More connections can be made using FrostWire client now.

FrostWire uses BitTorrent engine developed by Azureus technology. Before this, a simplified version of LimeWire’s BitTorrent engine was used.

FrostWire allows wireless filesharing between Android Devices running FrostWire for Android and deskstop client. You do not have to preconfigure either device. These devices are discovered automatically if they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

FrostWire is now compatible with iTune.
